Naught Be All Else To Me...

We sang Be Thou My Vision in worship yesterday and each time we do I'm always blessed by one line above all others:

Be Thou my Vision, O Lord of my heart;

Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art.

Essentially, the writer is saying, "God, I don't want you to be anything but what you are."


May our hearts sing that very line in this new year.
